Last from Oxford... for now

It was a long 6 weeks in Oxford, but definitely fun.

Along this journey, the time to take the next step is approaching and I am finally going to Iran after 1722 days !

انگار فقط باید تهدید میکردم!
الان پیغامک گرفتم که پست فردا پاسپورتم رو برام میاره

و احتمالا به زودی تا آخر این هفته میرم ایران

while "Working" !

امروز به مناسبت اینکه یه خانوم همکار داره 10 ماه میره برای زایمان ناهار رفتیم بیرون
خیلی خوب بود که دو ساعت به این بهانه کار نکردیم
بدیش اینه که اونقدر خوردیم و سنگین و تنبل شدیم که کارمون دیگه نمیاد

من در انتظار پاسپورت هنوز بدون بلیط ایران نشسته ام
چه پاسپورت بیاد چه نیاد این آخر هفته میرم پیش بهار
شاید بریم یه مهمونی لاتین

دیگه فعلا خبر جالبی نیست جز شیوع آنفولانزای خوکی!!!

Apparently busy !

به نظر میاد چه سرم اینجا شلوغه ها که حتی نمیریسم چند خط بنویسم

خب حالا باید ببینم از 9 آوریل تا حالا چیکار کردیم

لندن که خیلی خوب بود
جای همگی خالی به قول بهار نقشه لندن رو فتح کردیم
و البته خسته و کوفته برگشتیم آکسفورد

بعدش هم یک هفته کامل بهار موند پیش من

آخر هفته پیش با هم رفتیم تیاتر AIDA
و امشب میریم OTELLO
هر چی باشه "اینجا آکسفورده دیگه"!

10 روز پیش یه ایمیل اومد که ویزام حاضره و پاسپورتم رو باید بفرستم واسه مهر ویزا
الان یک هفته است که پاسپورت رفته ولی خبری از برگشتش نیست
واسه همین بلیط ایران و زمان رفتنش کاملا پا در هوا شده

مادر خانمی هم حسابی صبرش سر اومده و هر روز سراغ پاسپورت و سفر رو میگره

دیگه خبر خاصی نیست
ایشالا پست بعدی یا از ایرانه یا خبر سفر رو داره!

صبح کلی به فکر یه چیزی بودم که بنویسم، ولی یادم نمیاد!

اینجا همه چیز خوبه
این آخر هفته برنامه ریختیم بریم لندن
و البته هفته دیگه نوبت بهاره که بیاد پیش من تو آکسفورد

ویزاهای کار هم که امسال اینقدر کم بودن که فعلا مهلت رو تمدید کردن و قراره اگه به تعداد رسید بعد لاتاری کنن

فعلا صبح و روز و شب همگی خوش تا بعد...

Working from Manchester

I arrived at Manchester on Saturday morning.

Bahar and I went to "Peak district", somewhere really nice and green close to Manchester yesterday,

and today, I am working at the Manchester Business School, in the office of one of Bahar's supervisors!!! he is not in the office this week and has told bahar that I can stay in his office. I am really thrilled :D



PS. If you haven't already heard, I went to the embassy in London on Friday and the interview went perfect. So far, so good... now I sit here and wait for "the email" to come to my mailbox :)

On ...

On economy (!):
shops open around 9-10a and close 5-6p everyday. A college told me that Thursdays are shopping night and most shops stay open until late... but they were closing when I got to the city center at around 6!!!
well... I would suggest they change their shopping hours so that at least american tourist who are wondering around in the evenings can spend some money and their economy eventually grow !

On biking:
everyone at any time of the day bike from here to there. You would even see girls/women with mini skirts, high hills and make up riding a bike to get to wherever they want to go... I even saw a lady with a business suit, stock her pants into her socks and started biking !!!

On smoking:
Oh, not me!!! I have just seen cigarette boxes in the street with a sign that said "smoking kills"!!!!!!!!!

On fast food:
you can find fast food, sandwiches, sushi and everything in all the soters... the difference between here and the US is that they all look much healthier to me, and as a matter of fact, I have not seen any obese here so far.
