People @ Oxford

Remember how always we heard that British are cold and not really caring and kind...

In the past few days, I have stopped almost 1 out of 10 people I have seen in the street to ask whether I am going the right way or where I can find what and how I can do that and so on. They had "ALL" been so kind and responsive. If they didn't know the answer (which happened only 2-3 times) they would have got sooo worried about me and that what would happen to me if I follow their incorrect advice!

Well, so far, so good :)

First days at Oxford

I really like it here. It is again beautiful, green and historic. I have to post a few images that you can probably find better quality of them here.

So far, I realized
- shops close pretty early in Oxford,
- buses seldom stop so close to the car in front of them, like Tehran
- when grocery shopping, you usually think about how much milk you would drink until the next morning, not until the next weekend (everyday shopping style, like some parts of Tehran)

more to come... :)

Shadi @ Oxford

It is sooo beautiful in here. As I have forgotten my camera at home (!!!) after eid's pictures, the only pics I will take are the ones I take with my cell phone (mobile-to be british) and the ones Bahar takes with her camera when we are together... or even when we are not together!

I have almost just learned to cross the roads. What I do is I turn around 360Degree for three times to make sure that no car is coming from any direction and then follow a pedestrain that has meanwhile arrived at the cross-section!

I will post more about my experience here...

:)
